OrangeArrows F1
Being a life-long F1 fan, I was more than a little excited when I got a call from Orange early in 2001, asking if I'd mind popping down to the Arrows factory to help design the livery for the new OrangeArrows F1 Team. The following week I was in the paddock at Melbourne for Jenson Button’s very first race, making sure the logo was straight on the car, and discussing branding with Sir Stirling Moss. The team didn't last long (6th was the best they managed) but the impact of their approach opened the eyes of the entire paddock to the power of branding. All these years on and people still show up at Grand Prix wearing OrangeArrows gear.
