Ken Follett

I've been working closely with #1 international best-selling author Ken Follett on creating a consistent visual style for his brand across an ever expanding media set – from video games to TV adaptations. I’ve designed a number of Ken's backlist covers for the US market in collaboration with the local publishers as part of the exercise. More recently, I designed the UK and US covers for Ken’s highly anticipated follow-up to ‘The Pillars of the Earth’ – ‘A Column of Fire’, published in September 2017, and the even more highly anticipated prequel 'The Evening and the Morning', published in September 2019. The publishing industry is unusual in that each region around the world has its own publisher, and each publisher produces its own covers. So finding a way to create a strong, simple, globally consistent style across a huge number of applications is a fascinating, ongoing journey. I'm currently working with Ken and his publishers on his new novel 'NEVER' due for publication in late 2021.
