Hurricane Exploration

Hurricane is a new generation of oil company that exists to discover, appraise and develop oil from fractured basement reservoirs. I worked with Hurricane on their brand expression, interiors and annual reports for a number of years. I also shot all the images for the reports, which involved a ‘Top Gear’ style training week escaping from sinking, capsized helicopters, before being allowed to visit their North Sea oil rig to shoot the images shown here. In March 2017, Hurricane were in the news for discovering potentially the largest oil deposit in British waters this century.
